The Deciding Together program is based upon the content of the MAPP Group Preparation and Selection Program, and is designed for use with prospective resource parents who cannot participate in groups. The program uses seven family consultations in combination with six parent guidebooks to assess and develop (or enhance) 12 core skills for successful foster or adoptive parenting.
The Leader's Kit includes a Leader's Guide, an Implementation Guidebook and a set of six parent workbooks.
